This exhibit is open to all fiber artists, whether you work in felting, quilting, embroidery, knitting, crochet, hat making, textiles, wearable art, or mixed fiber arts. Fiber Arts have a long tradition not only of utility but of storytelling and personal expression. This exhibit celebrates the hard work and creativity of fiber artists.
Juror, Alesia Maltz, Ph.D.
Alesia Maltz, Ph.D. is a lifelong weaver who has taught Textile Design and History, Environmental Art and Environmental History. She recently received a Litchfield Hills Creative Award for the Loom Room Maker Space in Norfolk, CT.
